Citizens Centre Stage - A Conference About Serving Citizens Better.
The tenth annual Public Service Senior Management (PSSM) Conference will be held at the WestPacTrust St James Theatre in Wellington, on Tuesday 24 October 2000. This conference is an invitation-only event for chief executives and senior managers nominated by their chief executive.
Eminent speakers from the UK and Australia, and leaders of various New Zealand communities, will comment on the relationship between citizens and the state, and suggest how we can serve citizens better.
The Minister of State Services, the Honourable Trevor Mallard, will open the conference and State Services Commissioner, Michael Wintringham, will conclude the programme. Both will deliver future-looking messages for leaders in the State sector.
