Ria Earp

Ria Earp

Ria Earp is the Deputy Director-General (Maori Health) at the Ministry of Health. She joined the Ministry in 1996 to manage the Maori Health Branch, bringing with her wide and varied management experience in the Public Service. Ria has worked predominately in social policy roles but has also worked in corporate services and programme delivery, and across a range of Government departments.

During 1990-91, Ria completed an MBA at Victoria University Wellington, from where she had previously obtained an MA (Applied) Social Work and BA (Anthropology).

Ria is of Te Arawa – Ngati Pikiao and Ngati Whakaaue – descent.
